What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 301 near Waldo, FL on June 11th, 2023.  Police say the incident involved an SUV and semi-truck collision. Police were not able to provide a possible cause for the accident. It was stated the SUV was found trapped under the semi-truck and the driver of the SUV required emergency rescue from the vehicle. They were then taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries suspected of being life-threatening. Additional information has not been made available.
