What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured as many as four people at I-275 and 22nd Ave in St Petersburg, FL on April 17th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 5:39 p.m. According to investigators, a vehicle attempting to make a lane change in stopped traffic contributed to an approaching speeding Ford F-750 colliding with the vehicle. The impact caused the truck to leave the roadway, striking several other vehicles. Reports indicate as many as four people involved sere hospitalized for injuries.
