Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a man at I-95 and State Rd 44 near New Smyrna Beach, FL on November 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck is alleged to have collided with the rear of a passenger sedan. Officials say the impact caused the vehicles to leave the roadway into a wooded area. Officials say the  driver of the sedan was fatally injured. Additional information was not available.
