Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Tampa, FL on November 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1 a.m. A passenger vehicle operated by a 27-year-old Mississippi man was turning left into an intersection when it crossed into the path of a tractor-trailer. The truck is said to have crushed the passenger side of the vehicle and both ended up crashing through a fence at a private residence. The 53-year-old driver of the semi-truck, who police way not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene. The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
