What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Rd 20 in Calhoun County, FL on December 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. A tractor-trailer headed eastbound on State Rd 20 is said to have crossed into a westbound lane and collided head-on with a pickup truck. The pickup truck overturned onto its driver side and the 74-year-old Youngstown man died. His 80-year-old passenger was treated for minor injuries. No word was provided on the condition of the tractir-trailer driver.
