Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Rd 417 in Orlando, FL on January 18th, 2022. They say the incident took place around 5:45 a.m. A Chevrolet Tahoe was reportedly disabled in a righthand lane of south Route 417 when a passenger reportedly exited the vehicle to push it to safety. As he was doing so, an approaching tour bus operated by a 56-year-old Kissimmee woman, collided with the man and the Tahoe. The man pushing the vehicle died at the scene. A 28-year-old woman inside the vehicle was seriously injured and hospitalized. Two child passengers, ages 3 and 4, were hospitalized for treatment of minor injuries. The bus driver was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
