What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at US Hwy 90 and Dover Rd in Gadsden County, FL on April 18th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 12:25 p.m. Their initial investigation revealed a sedan operated by an unidentified 27-year-old male was headed eastbound on Hwy 90 when it allegedly attempted to pass to the right of a semi-truck attempting a right turn into a work site. In the process, the sedan struck the front right of the truck before crossing over a shoulder and colliding with a pair of trees. The vehicle overturned and the man suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The other driver was not injured.
