Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed two people at Palm Beach Blvd and River Hall Pkwy in Olga, FL on May 17th, 2022. Police believe the crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Their investigation revealed a passenger sedan operated by a 68-year-old Alva man was headed northbound on River Hall Pkwy before stopping at a red light. Investigators say the light turned green and, upon proceeding into the intersection, the vehicle was struck by a dump truck. The Alma man and his 71-year-old female passenger both suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The dump truck was cited for failing to obey a traffic control signal.
