State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Appling Harlem Rd in Harlem, GA on June 21st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 40-year-old Christina Richardson was headed northbound when it collided with a Nissan Rogue. The impact pushed the Rogue into a Chevrolet pickup truck, which caused the pickup truck to overturn. A passenger in the pickup truck, identified as Shirley Morris, was hospitalized with injuries and passed away on July 15th. Richardson was reportedly found at fault for the accident and reports indicate several charges were filed, including Homcide by Vehicle.
