What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at  I-84 in Burley, ID on September 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. A box truck headed westbound on I-84 veered from a left shoulder before crashing into three other vehicles in a left lane. After colliding with the vehicles, it then crossed back and struck another vehicle in a right lane before overturning. The box truck driver, 26-year-old Curtis Brown, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Two others, 41-year-old Jeremy Coombes and 66-year-old Jose Solis, were also hospitalized. Additional information was not immediately available.
