What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that injured two people at State Hwy 13 in Harpster, ID on September 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:20 p.m. A dump truck hailing gravel lost control for unknown reasons and veered through jersey barriers. From there, the truck overturned and rolled about 50 yards down an embankment into a group of trees. The passenger was able to exit the vehicle while the driver needed to be extricated. Both were hospitalized for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
