Cook County Police are investigating a collision that killed a child at West Leland Ave in Chicago, IL on June 9th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. According to investigators, a woman was riding a bicycle with a 3-year-old toddle on a back seat when it collided with a semi-truck. Police say the bike was between a Com-Ed truck and the semi-truck in a bike lane. The child was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died from.
