What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at Route 12 in Lake Zurich, IL on August 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened round 10:45 p.m. According to investigators, a cargo van headed southbound is alleged to have crossed a median for unknown reasons into oncoming traffic. The vehicle next collided with three other vehicles beaded northbound at the time. The cargo van operator was seriously injured, according to investigators. Three others from the other vehicles had less serious injuries. Police say all involved were hospitalized for treatment and did not have additional information available.
