Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that killed one person at West Roosevelt Rd in Chicago, IL on September 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:14 a.m. According to investigators, a tow truck was allegedly seen purposely crashing into vehicles for unclear reasons. Following the final collision, the truck is alleged to have left the scene. 21-year-old Giselle Chavez, was fatally injured. A 19-year-old man and her sister were both seriously injured, reports say. Authorities did not have any additional information.
