Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured two people at US 24 in Rushville, IL on September 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. A tractor operated by a 32-year-old Rushville man was hauling a hale bale when it was struck in the rear of a semi-truck operated by a 44-year-old Chicago man. Both were hospitalized for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The semi-truck driver was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed.
