State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-465 in Indianapolis, IN on March 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:40 p.m. According to initial investigation, a Ford Transit van was headed off I-465 onto Southeastern Avenue before colliding with the rear of a slow-moving semi-truck. The driver of the van, identified as 53-year-old James Simison, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
