What Happened

Area authorities provided information on an incident that killed a man at Knapp Lake Rd in Noble County, IN on December 14th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a tractor being used by a work crew to cut grass becoming stuck in a ditch. Police say the tractor was pulled from the ditch with a dump truck and that as the victim was walking between both vehicles, one moved forward and pinned him between the vehicles. The worker, identified as 53-year-old Jerry W Jones, died in the crash.
