Indiana State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 41 in Fountain County, IN on July 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. According to investigators, a box truck was headed southbound is said to have lost control for unknown reasons before veering from the road and crashing into a utility pole. The vehicle overturned, leaving the driver, 22-year-old Mathew Ratzlaff, with fatal injuries at the scene. A passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
