What Happened

Johnson County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that injured an officer at US 31 and Christian Blvd Johnson County, IN on February 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1 p.m. and involved a garbage truck colliding with a police vehicle. Investigators say the garbage truck driver informed them he was adjusting the trucks sun visor when the light turned red and the truck was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision.
