Lee County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at 130th St and 205th Ave in St Paul, IA on January 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. A semi-truck operated by 61-year-old Richard Cathey Jr was headed eastbound at the intersection when for unknown reasons, the truck veered from the road and crashed into the Tri-State Stove Inc building near Main St. Cathey died at the scene while his passenger, 69-year-old Alexander Levell, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
