State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-70 in Ellsworth, KS on June 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:09 p.m. A Chrysler Pacifica operated by 40-year-old Danielle Dee Hoskins reportedly was traveling westbound when it crossed a median and was struck by a tractor-trailer on the driver's side. Hoskins suffered fatal injuries at the scene. A passenger in the Chrysler, 13-year-old Shay Hoskins, was hospitalized with serious injuries. An additional passenger, 17-year-old Grace Dee Hoskins, was treated for minor injuries. The semi-truck driver, 64-year-old Robert Mueller, was not injured. Additional information was not available.
