What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at NE 20th Rd in Barton County, KS on November 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. as a pickup truck veered right to avoid an object in the road. Officials say the area was covered in heavy fog at the time and as the truck veered right, it struck a parked tractor-trailer. The driver of the pickup truck, 37-year-old Jeremy Combs, was hospitalized with n0n-life-threatening injuries.
