Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 54 in Kingman County, KS on August 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed eastbound on US 54 is said to have crossed a center line before colliding with a westbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the first truck, identified as 72-year-old Marcus Craven, suffered fatal injuries. The other driver, identified 61-year-old Johnnie Jones, was hospitalized with what are believed to be serious injuries.
