Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured two people at Pawnee St and Broadway in Wichita, KS on August 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. A pickup truck headed eastbound reportedly ran a red light and collided with a passenger car turning southbound on Broadway. Two people in the car, the 19-year-old driver and 38-year-old passenger, were both hospitalized with serious injuries. The pickup truck reportedly fled the scene but was later detained.
