State Police are investigating a crash that injured an officer at I-65 in Louisville, KY on July 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. A truck towing a Volkswagen Jetta on a flatbed had the flatbed come loose and collide with a patrol vehicle that was sitting in a median. The officer inside was hospitalized with injuries that include broken ribs and a broken nose. The other driver, who was not injured, was cited for having an insecure load.
