State Police have information on a crash that injured a pair of firefighters at I-71 in Campbellsburg, KY on March 15th, 2024. Authorities believe the incident happened around 6:16 a.m. According to reports, a fire truck was in the process of responding to a call as it pulled into a median crossover. While making the turn at the crossover, report say the vehicle was struck by a northbound semi-truck. Two firefighters were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, reports say, while the semi-truck operator was allegedly uninjured.
