Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-65 in Jefferson County, KY on August 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 a.m. A Jeep reportedly collided with a semi-truck in the shoulder. The impact caused the Jeep to collide with a second semi-truck. The driver and three passengers were ejected from the vehicle and two of those individuals suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Two others were hospitalized with serious injuries.
