What Happened

State Police have identified the two individuals killed in a crash on  I-20 near Waverly, LA on November 15th, 2021. They say it happened around 4:40 a.m. Initial reports suggest an 18-wheeler operated by 62-year-old Ronnie Davis stopped on a shoulder lane of I-20 for undetermined reasons as a 2018 Ram Promaster van operated by-24-year-old Khetag Gusssaidi approached. As the 18-wheeler was returning to the main interstate lanes from the shoulder, the van reportedly collided with the rear of the truck. Gussaidi died at the scene along with his 26-year-old passenger, Aleksandar Nozharov. Davis reportedly suffered no injured. Additional details were not given.
