What Happened

State Police identified the person killed in a two-vehicle crash on US 165 in Allen Parish, LA on October 27th, 2021. They say it happened around 7:30 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 53-year-old James Randal Gowen was headed southbound on 165 when it merged into a lane occupied by a GMC Sierra. The rear of the trailer collided with the front left of the Sierra and the driver, 59-year-old Leon Henry Wallace Jr, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
