State Police are investigating a crash that killed a child at Route 29 in Ellicott City, MD on December 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:14 a.m. According to investigators, a tanker truck headed northbound on Route 40 before colliding with the rear of a Honda Odyssey. Following the collision, the Odyssey collided with two other vehicles. A 3-year-old child in the Honda was hospitalized with injuries they later died from. Six people in the other vehicles were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
