What Happened

Montgomery County Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Asbury Rd in Gaithersburg, MD on November 9th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A water delivery truck was making a left turn from Fellowship Circle when it collided with a 75-year-old male pedestrian crossing the road in the Asbury Methodist Village retirement community. The driver remained a the scene for police. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries, however it was not said whether he died at the scene or after being transported to an area hospital.
