Michigan State Police are investigating a crash that injured three people at 9 Mile Rd and Northwestern Hwy in Southfield, MI on August 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:08 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck is alleged to have traveled through a red light before colliding with a bus. The driver of the truck required emergency extrication from the truck and was hospitalized for treatment. The bus driver and one passenger were also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
