What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a two-truck collision at I-35 near Albert Lea, MN on February 21st, 2022. They say it happened around 5:56 p.m. A semi-truck operated by 64-year-old Bradley D Oachs was reportedly headed southbound on the interstate when it collided with another truck that was jackknifed in the southbound lanes. Oachs was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. The driver and passenger in the other truck were not injured. Police say the roads were ice and snow covered at the time of the crash.
