What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured students at 190th Ave and 40th St in Clay County, MN on October 14th, 2021. Local officials are saying it happened sometime just before 7:30 a.m. As school bus for Ada-Borup School District was involved in a collision with a pickup truck pulling a commercial-style trailer. Four students were treated at the scene for minor injuries. The pickup truck driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. Intial investigation reports suggest that the pickup truck failed to yield at a yield sign and is believed to be at-fault for the accident. Additional information was not immediately available.
