What Happened

Mississippi Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-20 in Warren County, MS on October 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 a.m. Investigators say a FedEx truck was struck in the rear by a Chevrolet Silverado for unknown reasons. This caused a chain reaction collision involving several other vehicles. The driver of the Silverado, identified as 42-year-old Gary Bevis, suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
