Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-229 in St Joseph, MO on August 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. Police say a semi-truck collided with the rear of a Chevrolet Silverado, pushing it into a dump truck. The impact caused the dump truck to travel forward, striking a commercial boom truck. Two occupants of the Silverado suffered fatal injuries. They were identified as Diana L. Ptomey and Joyce L.
