State Police are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Hwy 54 and Farm View Rd in Eugene, MO on July 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. According to investigators, a bus operated by 62-year-old Thomas Babbitt, veered from the road and crashed after Babbitt allegedly fell asleep at the wheel. Investigators say there were 28 occupants aboard, including six adults and 22 children. 14 people were hospitalized with injuries said the be non-life-threatening injuries. Babbitt was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
