What Happened

Nebraska State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two drivers at I-80 near Seward, NE on October 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:15 a.m. An eastbound semi-truck operated by 63-year-old Lloyd Shobe is said to have crossed a center median before colliding with a westbound semi-truck operated by 48-year-old Richard Turner. Both drivers suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Additional information was not immediately available.
