What Happened

State Police have information on a crash that injured multiple people at Route 78 in Bloomsbury, NJ on July 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck headed eastbound collided with the rear of a Mazda CX-5. The impact pushed the Mazda into a nearby guardrail and a tire struck a nearby Kia Sorento. The driver of the Mazda, identified as 35-year-old Abbie Stross was seriously injured. The truck driver, identified as 50-year-old Michael Ansley, was also seriously injured. A 1-year-old and 4-year-old in the vehicle were both also injured. In total police say seven people were injured.
