Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Route 1 and Adams Ln in North Brunswick, NJ on January 3rd, 2021. Police are saying it happened just before 12:30 a.m. A tow truck operated by 41-year-old Edward Smith Jr was reportedly in the process of turning left from Adams Ln onRoute 1 when it was struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer. The impact sent the tow truck into an auto dealership lot where it stuck one of the parked vehicles. Smith, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, died at the scene.
