What Happened

State Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that killed a woman at County Rd 521 in Hope Twp, NJ on August 4th, 2022. Investigators say the incident happened around 10:50 a.m and involved a dump truck, mail truck and Honda. The dump truck was reportedly headed northbound before allegedly crossing a double yellow line, side swiping the mail truck. The dump truck also collided head-on with a northbound Honda. The driver of the Honda, identified as 69-year-old Mary Ann Boatman, suffered fatal injuries. The dump truck driver is said to have suffered minor injuries while the driver of the mail truck was uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
