What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at Deming, NM on May 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident involved two SUV's occupied by a total of 8 people. Both vehicles reportedly veered from the road for unknown reasons and one of the vehicles, ejected three occupants who were believed to have not been wearing seatbelts were ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. They were identified as 53-year-old Raymundo Cruz Herrera, 41-year-old Jose Luis Guerrero and 27-year-old Abraham Calderon. Four people in the other SUV were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
