Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured two people at Route 32 in Northumberland, NY on October 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5 p.m. A dump truck operated by 60-year-old Patrick Pitcheralle was headed northbound on Route 32 around a curve when it lost control and overturned into southbound lanes. It was then struck by a vehicle operated by 74-year-old Alton Weeden. Both Weeden and Pictheralle were hospitalized for treatment of injuries. Additional information was not available.
