What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Ridge Rd in Gaines, NY on October 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened just before 10:30 a.m. A tractor-trailer headed westbound on Ridge Road collided with a Keep at the intersection there on Keyonville Rd after a Jeep operated by 33-year-old Cristal Nunez-Rexach went past a stop sign. The collision was severe enough that Nunez-Rexach suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The truck driver was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
