Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at US Route 11 in Gouverneur, NY on July 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened round 7 p.m. Police believe westbound SUV may have crossed into oncoming traffic before colliding with an SUV. An occupant of the SUV, identified as 30-year-old Jessica Boyle required extrication from the vehicle, according to officials. Once free, police say Boyle was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. The driver of the truck, identified as 79-year-old Alonzo Ellison, was uninjured, according to officials. Additional information was not available.
