What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at County Route 115 in Cochecton, NY on July 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12:05 p.m. According to investigators, a rental truck was northbound on County Route 115 before crossing into an opposite lane of travel and colliding with a tractor-trailer. Reports say the tractor-trailer lost control in the impact, traveling into the path of and striking an adjacent GMC. The operator of the GMC, identified as 37-year-old Sher Singh, was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead from injuries in the crash. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
