What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at South Conduit Ave and Rockaway Blvd in Springfield Gardens, NY on November 17th, 2021. Police say 33-year-old Vivianna Wolpe was attempting to cross an intersection when she was struck by an eastbound mini school bus. Wolpe was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died from on December 8th. The 71-year-old bus driver remained at the scene after the collision and was not arrested.
