What Happened

North Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Indian Springs Rd in Wayne County, NC on January 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened sometime around 6:30 p.m. A logging truck headed westbound on Indian Springs Rd is said to have come to a stop while attempting to reverse into a driveway. An approaching passenger car headed eastbound reportedly collided with the side of the trailer and two people in the vehicle were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
