What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at I-76 and State Route 534 in Milton Twp, OH on February 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7 a.m. According to police, a box truck operated by 58-year-old Brian Johnson, was headed westbound when it collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Investigators say the tractor-trailer was stopped in a right liane as traffic was slowing for a separate accident. Johnson was hospitalized with serious injuries in the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer and a 4-year-old sleeping in the sleeper berth were both treated at the scene for minor injuries.
