What Happened

Ohio State Police identified the person killed in a collision at I-75 in Miami Twp, OH on November 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened just before 10 a.m. A vehicle operated by 47-year-old James Hartman was headed northbound on I-75 when it left the roadway for unknown reasons. Investigators say Hartman exited the vehicle and stepped onto the highway before being struck by a passing semi-truck, suffering fatal injuries in the collision.
